Many students are facing the harsh reality that the easy loans they need are not going to be available this year. Numerous lenders have announced that they are no longer offering easy loans to students, and although schools are offering some programs, many students are finding that they will not be able to afford their educations. Experts fear that unless more easy loans are made available over the next few months, enrollment in schools across the US could fall sharply. In the past, easy loans were available widely, so many students are not prepared to handle this crisis. However, despite the amount of lenders that are no longer offering easy loans, there are some federal options in place for students to get assistance before the school year begins. Students will need to take action quickly to apply before it is too late.”They made it easy for students in Kentucky, such a service to them, so we’ll have to go outside of that now,” said Rebecca Parrott-Robbins with Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College Student Affairs.”You have over 60 that’s opted out and that scares other lenders, that increases interest rates, fees, and of course is a higher payback for the students,” Parrott-Robbins added.
